Ernie spent his life observing, studying, and marveling at God's creation. He was a scientist by trade, but he was good at everything. He loved learning, and his love of reading was the last thing he let his physical health take from him. Everyone knew if they had any questions about how the universe works, he was the one to ask. If there wasn't an answer, he'd engage in an enlightening conversation of theories. His last few years were hard as his dementia rapidly progressed, but his long, full life is what we will cherish and tell our children about for years to come.
