Ernie was born in Rock Island, IL on August 23, 1920. He is much loved and will always be remembered by all his friends and family.

Thoughts
My first thought when reading the obituary of your Dad,Katie is what a welcoming home your Mom and Dad provided for your friends like me. I never felt in the way whatever we were doing in your home. I also remember them kindly providing a venue for a Hilltopper party. So sorry for your loss.
